When it comes to treating acne, there are a lot of myths that the claim for relief products using certain acne. Here are some of the most popular myths: 1. Toothpaste - Toothpaste can help dry the acne but also leaves the rest of the surrounding skin dry and not very healthy looking. Your skin may continue to leave no matter how dry it is. It may seem as if the toothpaste is working because it dries the acne but does not get to the root of the problem and treat acne. Toothpaste can also cause irritation, redness and skin sensitivity to months after use in acne. It may even cause scarring or dermatitis. Toothpaste also undermines the way the skin cell to combat free radicals, which can lead to more acne. Although acne can be dried, not worth the problems that can come from using it. 2. In order to have healthy skin, you must create a protective barrier for the skin by using moisturizers. If you do not use moisturizers, are exposing your skin to harmful free radicals, which can make your skin look healthy and can damage the skin. 6. Exfoliating Skin Care - Use scrub exfoliates the skin and when you have acne can actually damage the skin and make acne worse if you use granulated Scrubs.
