Acne is a skin condition that is very common in young people usually between the ages of 13 to 18 years. It is more common in female as compared to males. This condition can occur at any stage of the life but is common in teens. It is common in all parts of the world and the persons with any skin color. But it is observed that the people having the darker skin have more chances of suffering from acne. The most common symptoms of acne are the spots formation on the skin. These spots are usually formed on the face, chest, neck and arms. Usually these pores are painless and are very tiny in size. The spots that are formed on the skin may be of white color, called whiteheads. The spots with black color are called blackheads. These spots usually secrete an oily secretion on the skin that keeps the skin greasy. When all the oil contained by these spots is secrete out on the skin, these spots are automatically healed. It is recommended not to touch or squeeze these spots because it can result in the inflammatory reactions to occur. Sometimes the lesions filled with pus are also formed on the skin. These are called cysts and are usually formed as a result of inflammatory reactions. You may ask the question that how the acne is developed. Acne is developed due to the blockage of the skin pores. The glands present underneath the skin produce the oily secretions that make our skin soft and supple. But due to the blockage of skin pores, these oily secretions are trapped under the skin and bacteria start growing here. This causes the inflammation of the skin and the symptoms of acne are seen.br
