How do I know this to be true? Well, I have done my research and have read relevant and reliable sources over and over again. But, more importantly, I have improved my own diet and my face is more smooth and less red then it ever has before ever since I was cursed with acne over 5 years ago.

What Kind of Diet Am I Talking About?

For beginners, eat more fruits and vegetables. Include a lot of fresh greens such as baby spinach, kale, and the like. An easy way to eat these greens is with green smoothies. I drink a green smoothie 6 days a week. They are delicious too.

If you can spare some extra change then go for grass fed beef, organic chicken and wild caught seafood, especially salmon. These have a lot of omega 3 fatty acids which most people lack. Walnuts are another great source for omega 3 fatty acids but only eat a handful at a time.

Stop eating highly processed foods and begin eating more natural, whole foods. Stop eating fast food and start making your own meals for lunch and dinner.

Eat a green smoothie and oatmeal with walnuts for breakfast. This is my favorite breakfast. I feel great after eating it and it is highly nutritious. I go for Quaker old fashioned, 100% natural oatmeal and add just a pinch or 2 of brown sugar.

Diet Plays a Huge Role but is Not the Only Answer

Most of us need to improve our diets. However, a well-balanced diet is not the only answer. We must excel in all areas of our health. But, for some all we need to do is improve our diet. Having a positive attitude and believing you are on the path to recovery from acne is also a must. Physical activity and quality sleep is also extremely necessary for getting rid of acne.

Sleep

You absolutely must have a positive attitude in order to be free of acne. Stop looking in the mirror more than you should and have a positive outlook on your skin. Believe

Which leads to believing in yourself. Please believe that you can get clear and have clear, smooth skin. If you do not think you can then you will not. Simply start believing you are currently in the process of healing.

Take 5 minutes out of every day and visualize. See yourself already having clear, smooth, beautiful skin.
